(Ages 5-12) Let’s turn your favorite fruit into art! In this hands-on class, students will learn the basics of sculpture by shaping clay into a three-dimensional fruit of their choice-apples, bananas, strawberries, oranges, you name it! We’ll explore how artists build form and texture to make their sculptures look real (or totally imaginative!). A sculpture is the art of making three-dimensional objects by shaping materials such as stone, metal, wood, or clay.
