(.5 Credit) CNA Refresher This OPTIONAL refresher course helps prepare for the written CNA competency test. Skills practice includes Blood Pressure, TPR, positioning, gait belt transfers, and I&O. We’ll also review common topics found on the state test.

Testing Process:

Complete the online Recertification Form (www.nurseaidetesting.com) and call the Nurse Aide Testing Office to confirm.

After verification, you’ll receive instructions by email to create an account, purchase a seat, and schedule your exam.

Testing is administered by SIUC at sites across Illinois.

CNAs have one year to pass the written exam (up to 3 attempts). If unsuccessful, an Illinois-approved CNA training program must be completed before retesting.
