More than just pre- or post-event work, Sports Massage is a comprehensive system for improving functional movement, preventing injuries, and supporting recovery. You’ll learn how to apply proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF), reciprocal inhibition, and movement-based alignment techniques to increase range of motion and muscular efficiency. This class also covers issues common to athletes-like ACL strain, rotator cuff dysfunction, and leg-length discrepancy-while providing tools you can apply to any client who moves, trains, or holds structural tension. Adaptable, intelligent, and grounded in results. Dress comfortably and BRING: two sets of sheets set with face cradle covers, a blanket, snacks/lunch, and note taking materials to every class. Read recommended articles prior to class: www.lafranomassagedynamics.com. Massage tables and water provided. 12 CE hours for Massage Therapists Chuck LaFrano NCBTMB #344.
