Geriatric Massage is an introductory hands-on class that will teach students to be proficient in geriatric massage. Benefits, contraindications, and techniques of geriatric massage will be covered. This workshop will address medical and health considerations to provide appropriate care for this specialized population. BRING: Set of twin sheets, pillowcase/face cradle cover, snacks/ lunch, note taking materials. DRESS: Comfortable clothing. Massage tables and water provided. (6 CE hours for Massage Therapists.
