Explore various types and genres of poetry, including haiku, sestina, and free verse, while learning literary terms such as symbolism, slant rhyme, stanza formation, and theme through the works of famous poets. Students will write original poetry using the Writing Process and discuss different forms of publishing. Enjoy watching your writing grow and finding your unique poetic voice!
