FORKLIFT OPERATOR TRAINING (.5 Credit) Are you an experienced operator in need of a current license, or an employer looking for training options for your staff? This course is designed to update and refresh your knowledge of powered industrial truck (forklift) operation. You will learn the skills necessary to operate a lift truck safely, correctly, and professionally-meeting the requirements for forklift authorization licensing. Topics include: safety for operators and coworkers, proper load handling, center of gravity and load loss calculations, dock safety, pre-shift inspections, capacity plates, battery and fuel safety, ANSI standards, OSHA regulations, and more. Instruction uses videos, training aids, a student workbook, written testing, and hands-on evaluations with coaching. Important: To become fully licensed and authorized, the forklift owner must complete or approve an on-site skills test (class covers sit-down forklifts only). Requirements & Notes: .
