This hands-on, beginner-friendly course introduces adults to the power of artificial intelligence through practical, everyday tools they can use at home, at work, or on the go. With a focus on productivity, organization, and creativity, participants will gain the confidence to use tools like ChatGPT and other free AI platforms to simplify tasks and boost efficiency - no tech background required. Whether you are a parent, retiree, busy professional, or simply curious about new technology, this course will teach you how to work smarter, not harder, with AI. Each week builds on the last, giving you a solid foundation in what AI is, how it works, and how you can start using it in your daily life right away.
This is also the recommended prerequisite course for all other AI offerings at Rock Valley College taught by Tiffany Ingram. Students who complete this course will be well-prepared to advance into ChatGPT in Real Life, AI for Professional Use, Prompt Engineering 101, and more.
