(Ages 12-Adult) Beginner-friendly and welcoming to new or returning students! Each session features fresh, hands-on projects. Learn to quilt in a creative, non-traditional way by upcycling clothing, sheets, and scrap fabrics into unique, cozy pieces. Along the way, you’ll build basic sewing skills, gain confidence, and keep your machine in action while creating projects you can continue at home. Bring: Sewing machine (or hand-sewing tools), seam ripper, scissors/rotary cutter with mat, quilting straight pins or safety pins, thread/bobbins, batting (preferably Warm & Natural for baby/throw/twin size), and fabric scraps or recycled materials. Take Home: Your projects to finish or continue between classes. Complete as many projects as you like.
