(Ages 12-Adult) Whether you’re new to sewing or just want to quilt, this fun and beginner-friendly class is for you! Repeat students are always welcome-each session features new projects. Quilting involves stitching together three layers of fabric to create cozy and decorative pieces, but this is not your traditional quilting class. We’ll be upcycling items like clothing, top sheets, and scrap fabric to craft unique quilts while giving new life to old materials. Along the way, you’ll learn basic sewing skills, build confidence, and keep your sewing machine in action. Let’s sew sustainably and creatively-one stitch at a time!

BRING: Sewing machine or sew by hand, seam ripper, quality scissors or rotary cutter with mat, quilting straight pins or quilting safety pins, thread with bobbins, and batting. (Prefer Warm & Natural batting in baby/throw/twin size). Don’t forget your fabric (scraps, recycle items, top sheets, jeans, joggers, etc)! TAKE HOME: Your project to work on in between classes. Complete as many projects as you like.
