(Ages 12-Adult) This course offers a gentle introduction to sewing-perfect for those who are new to using a sewing machine or looking for a refresher. You’ll get comfortable with your own machine as you learn how to thread it, wind a bobbin, and practice essential stitches like straight and zigzag lines. We’ll explore how to search for sewing patterns online and walk through the process of reading them and shopping for the right materials at a fabric store. By the end of the course, you’ll feel confident using your machine, selecting patterns, and starting a sewing project of your own. BRING: your sewing machine & manual, quality scissors, and thread.
