(Ages 8-Adult) FOR THOSE READY TO SEW CLOTHING; REPEAT STUDENTS WELCOME (new projects each time!) Tired of shopping online, only to discover someone else is wearing the same outfit? Or, are you tired of spending lots of money on your clothes when you have your own unique patterns and style in mind? Join Mary, who has been a seamstress since her childhood, to learn how to make your own clothes! We’ll briefly cover the basics, then get started on seweing simple garments following a pattern guide. You’ll be able to put in zippers, sleeves and so much more! RECOMMENDED: ability to choose and read a pattern guide. FIRST CLASS: After we meet on campus, we will travel to local fabric store to purchase supplies. BRING: Your sewing machine. TAKE HOME: your handmade garment!
