(1.5 credit) This course offers a comprehensive introduction to launching and running a successful business. Students will explore key topics including business plan development, marketing strategies, advertising, legal considerations, financing, and effective record keeping. The course also highlights common startup challenges and best practices to avoid them. Participants will create and present a simulated business plan during the final session. Additionally, valuable business resources will be provided, including information on banking, taxes, and local city services to support entrepreneurs. NO CLASS 3/9
