Masks have been used for centuries for many purposes, including protection, expression, communication, and memorialization. This is a program to learn to create an actual plaster mask, decorate it & work on the “Mask” one wears to others and look at how this prevents living more fully today. If one chooses to do more “work” on what they created, we can use role play to interact with this part of ones self. Mask-making can be a way to allow unexpected sides of yourself to emerge, or embrace those parts of yourself you have yet to befriend.
