What is true meditation? Meditation is the process of taking our attention away from the world outside and focusing it within ourselves. It is an ancient practice with many other names such as concentration, sitting in silence, or contemplation. There are many physical, mental, and emotional benefits we enjoy from meditation. The most important reason to meditate is to become spiritually aware and realize our existence at the level of the soul. With this, a whole new world opens up for us. Attendance of all sessions is required to really learn mediation: Session 1 Benefits and introduction to meditation practice; Session 2 Developing the meditation technique; Session 3 Sitting still and learning to focus; Session 4 Stilling the mind.
